Sharan Monga founded Dobtho to build cleaner, healthier and more sustainable products through disciplined execution across three business segments: Materials, Technical Textiles, Uniforms and Equipment. With a background in chemicals and advanced manufacturing, he structured the company around process, reinvestment and measurable delivery. The aim is straightforward: develop capable materials, engineer them into systems and convert them into products that perform in real environments at viable cost.
Dobtho works as a progression from molecule to market. In Materials, the focus is on high performance and recycled fibres, yarns and engineered inputs designed for scale and compliance. In Technical Textiles, those materials become woven and nonwoven constructions, barrier systems and multi layer assemblies built for regulated use. In Uniforms, textile systems are translated into field ready products designed for daily performance across institutional and industrial settings. In 2026, Dobtho is launching over 300 products across these segments, reflecting a structured approach to product development and launch.
Sharan’s role is to connect strategy, engineering and activation so sustainability, performance and cost move together. He works from validated demand, builds propositions grounded in use cases and equips teams to shorten the path from specification to value. Progress is measured through employment supported and commercial traction achieved. Early programmes have contributed to qualified pipelines exceeding 20M£ in annual turnover. By 2035, the ambition is to contribute to more than 10K jobs by scaling products that link material capability to market delivery.
